Crossover, Final Fantasy VII/Kingdom Hearts, Genesis/KH!Cloud, wingkink
There was little poetry in this. Cloud had the elements of it of course, colored in sunlight and shadows, his eyes gleaming SOLDIER bright, though no mako ran in his veins, but he was too raw, too desperate. It was less lovemaking and more a sexual collision when Genesis came skin to skin with him. But even Cloud had to admit that it wasn't just about need anymore. Not that it had ever really been. Genesis could remain stable with a simple infusion, the sex was... more a bonus. Reminding them both that they were... human. At the end of it, with two wings wrapped around slick bodies, the rasp of feather and slide of scale, gold and copper heads nestling together and frantic pulses slowing into legarthy, words that he should have been able to spout off with ease failed him.
"You're trying to think again," a leathery pinion tightened briefly against him. "Of words."
Genesis sighed, his own wing mimicking the motion. "You'll forgive me if I try for a modicum of sophistication?"
"Don't need words," a hand rested on Genesis's chest, fingers splaying out. "Just this."
"A heartbeat? You'll be converted yet." But the tease failed he saw, Cloud's smile soft and tinged with that ever-present darkness.
"You'll see. As much as I pray it never comes, if I found my way here, so will they." The blond head ducked slightly, rubbing along inky feathers. "But not today."
And that Genesis knew was the end of that. No there was little poetry here, but he found that wrapped in the folds of one so like - and unlike - himself, there was peace.
