Crossover: Final Fantasy VII/Fullmetal Alchemist, Roy Mustang/Kadaj, quicksilver alchemist
With the grime of the day's fighting scrubbed away in the showers, Kadaj was restless. Loz had fallen quickly asleep and Yazoo lay curled behind him, as awake as Kadaj but satisfied with the wide swaths of destruction his flechettes had torn through brick and flesh alike. His gaze tracked Kadaj, but he said nothing as Kadaj drew on his coat and ducked outside.
The night had gone from cool to cold and the round white face of the moon made it easy for Kadaj to move between the neat rows of tents. Most of the alchemists' quarters were set apart from the rest of the troops, and despite Mustang's habit of being friends with the ground-pounders, he was no exception.
In the city, Kadaj and his brothers had passed more than a few scorched streets, the bodies in them still steaming, limbs curled and blackened. Whether or not someone had gotten to him first, Mustang would still be begging for it tonight.
When there were no telltale sounds at Mustang's quarters as he approached, Kadaj pushed open the flap of the tent. "Hello, Flame," he said, slipping inside, dropping his coat on the small writing desk and crawling straight into Mustang's bed. Mustang was naked under the sheets, his body fighting against fits of shivers. Kadaj wondered if that was Kimberly's stink clinging to Mustang's skin, leaking out wet between his legs. "Seems like neither of us could sleep, hm."
Mustang didn't answer, but he spread his knees and parted his lips more willingly than a whore to let Kadaj fuck him or kiss him. Kadaj scratched his array on the span of Mustang's chest between the bitemarks left there by some other man and wondered what it would be like to still be buried in Mustang's flesh if he activated it, melted flesh back down into its base elements.
Kadaj moaned and leaned down, sucked at slack lips and licked the wet salt trickle that appeared when the brutal slam of his hips brought Mustang to sticky, gasping release. Kadaj was good at breaking things, putting them back together was another matter, but one day he and his brothers would unlock the secret they'd need to make them all whole again.
