Cardcaptor Sakura, Touya/Yue, wings
"It's not the same," Touya said quietly through gritted teeth.
"I know," the strange halfway voice replied. "It's not meant to be the same." The face was still Yukito's, but the gaze looking out through those eyes was much colder. "I do not want to take anything more from you. But . . . "
"I know." Touya turned back around and slid his arms around his partner. He understood that one soul lay under the two forms; it was just hard for him to make that real for himself. Yuki was fine with it; he was the only one who felt as if he were cheating on him. The human leaned his head against the homunculus's shoulder. "Go ahead."
"Very well." Moonlight, brighter than any full moon, spilled around them, and then there were those white wings, curled around him and containing the light as Yue rearranged himself into his true form under his fingers. He insisted on watching the transformation, now, instead of letting Yukito dissolve under those bright feathers alone.
Yue's long, pale fingers gently clasped at his waist. "I am sorry." The belt of his robe came undone at the angel's touch, and the warm fabric parted, cool air whispering along the dark curls beneath.
"No, don't apologize. That makes it worse." Touya opened the Guardian's robe and traced the pale skin underneath with his fingertips. He pushed the heavy white silk back, sliding it from Yue's shoulders, feeling the smooth feathers as it slid down his back. Yue reached back to pull it the rest of the way from his wings, and it pooled on the floor like snow.
Touya tossed his own bathrobe behind him and gripped the spirit's shoulders. His fingers looked strangely dark against the pale skin. "Hold me." His chest pressed against the other's, and he felt Yue's heartbeat, too slow to be a human's but too solid to be a ghost's. The angel's nipples were hard as his wings folded in around them, caressing Touya's back and blocking out the walls of their apartment.
He let a sudden wave of need take him, and wondered vaguely when his own transformation in this winged cocoon would come.
