Howdy Howdy Howdy - Name is Sarah, and have I got a game for you!
I've got an idea for a GPSL, which I've called Tokyo Drifters. It's a bit Sense8 inspired, as in eight people from around the world who start experiencing weird stuff, and have to work together to solve the puzzle. It's inspired by Japanese Mythology, which I selected because a) so many other mythologies are a bit stale (vampires and werewolves are great an all, but I feel like some variety), and b) there is some awesome concepts in Japanese mythology that I'd love to see explored.
The concept is that eight people are born, each empowered with the abilities (and weaknesses) of a different type of deity or spirit (which I've listed here. They all have a dream about Tokyo, followed by an overpowering urge to go there. Once they get there, the game will be focused on character and plot development - discovering their abilities, with bits of mystery thrown in. Mysteries like who was it that empowered them? Why were they drawn to Tokyo? Who might be after them? How far can their abilities go?
