EVENT OF COOPER'S YEAR?

To those who know him, it's a well-known fact that Clark Cooper hates any kind of holidays, and pretends the Super Bowl is his Christmas. To those who don't, he tells them it's Christmas and just seems extra about it.

Like, really extra.

His home, an impressive two-floor apartment close to Santa Monica, has been decked out for the occasion. There's a full screen and projector system rigged up in his living area and also a space for people who'd rather mingle than watch the game. There's space on the balcony for people who want to get some air and time away from the party.

Anyone is invited. Seriously, anyone. As long as you know someone attending, you're more than welcome. He's got enough food to feed four agencies...

FOOD & DRINKS & MORE

Little known fact about Pathos: he loves hosting. He's made an impressive array of snacks for the day, including a snack stadium and little referee jackets for beer bottles that he's far too proud of. Feel free to bring your own offerings and add to the mountain of food!

Scattered around Coop’s kitchen are copies of a Super Bowl advert bingo card for anyone who’s into that.

THE REST OF THE APARTMENT

If anyone's feeling curious, the rest of the apartment is there for exploring. Pathos's decor is minimal and everything seems really clean. There's a lot of new stuff that's clearly been bought for the imminent arrival of his dog, who's officially coming home the day after the Super Bowl.

His own bedroom is locked, but the guest room is a weird one to people who don't know him or his friendships. There's a cutout standee of Vince Vaughn just behind the door, intended to dissuade visitors. Inside is a giant build-a-bear in a baseball outfit, and a glass presentation case with a game-used ball from the 2016 World Series. There's a basket of snacks by the bed, and a framed, shrunk pair of nacho-stained Gucci sweatpants that have a post-it on saying "NEVER AGAIN." This photo is framed on the wall, which hero-fans might notice as being similar to a more serious photoshoot from People Magazine a few years ago.

There's a small room that's clearly Cooper's sports den, with table football and a large TV. If the party gets too loud this will be where he retreats to for the closing minutes of the game, but it's open to anyone who'd want a more relaxed setting to watch in.

He's put football bunting everywhere, because it's the Super Bowl. You don't skimp on decorations for the Super Bowl.

FINAL WHISTLE

Coop’s happy to help people organise an Uber/Lyft home if necessary, but unless you’re a very close friend you’ll be politely encouraged to leave once the afterparty dies down.

Be sure to take some extra food back with you though.

	Bell showed up shortly before the game started with the cocktail meatballs she promised, because she’s a woman of her word. 	Maddi arrived early (for ONCE, she is not allowed to miss Coop’s favourite holiday) wearing an oversized limited edition jersey as a dress. She was smiley and chatty, but fairly reserved with people she didnt know well (which is most people). (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
