Who: Nate and OPEN
When: Day 10; early afternoon
Where: The Library
Day ten marked almost two weeks that Nathan had been away from Reno and confined in one place fulltime. As much as he'd been comparing it to prison (because he compared everything to prison), Nate didn't feel like he was locked up. There was too much to do, too much freedom, and actual good food. So far, despite all of the indecisiveness he was working through over his strategy, the mansion was a pretty good deal.
As such, it made sense to him to explore more of the house. He hadn't been in the library yet despite liking to read, so he ventured over in the early afternoon to take a look at what books were there for the taking. Unsurprisingly, there were quite a few. In no hurry, he didn't make a dash for a genre he thought he'd be more partial to, instead just walking through the stacks to drink in the atmosphere.
Eventually, he came across a book that caught his eye and pulled it off the shelf. It was an origami craft book, glossy and offering directions on how to fold everything from cranes to envelopes. There was a page on throwing stars that Nate looked at for a while, only to rip it cleanly out of the book once he decided he wanted to pour over it more in his room. Afterward, he closed the book with one hand, and began to fold up the ripped page so he could stuff it into his pocket.
