Audrey had been watching on the cameras as she got ready, though she hadn't thought the ban on the ballroom cameras would be lifted until dinnertime. She was right, but it didn't matter. She'd still been able to time her entrance so that, while not late, she was still one of the last to arrive. She'd wanted to see how everyone would settle before choosing a group to join, and so was perhaps a bit disappointed to see there was assigned seating.
Until she'd gone down and saw her table-mates, of course.
Katalina had interested her after a few days of observation, and while the man, Ethan, was new to the house, he was lovely to look at. A pity he was law enforcement, but Audrey was positively tickled at what had to be humor from the scientists. Why else seat a police officer at the same table as her?
Audrey headed towards the food, impressed at the spread, and glad everyone else seemed to have - for the most part - dressed up. She'd done the same, going for something nice but not overdone, sexy without looking cheap, and had finally settled on the brown silk dress that draped in some areas and clung in other exactly the way she wanted. She'd kept everything else in the same warm color palette, touches of gold and vintage topaz. She just hoped the effort wasn't wasted.
With a plate and a glass of wine, she finally made her way to her assigned table, setting both down and taking a seat. "Good evening," she said with a friendly smile. "Katalina and Ethan? I'm Audrey."
