Lark had managed to figure out how to get the dress on, and was surprised to find it wasn't actually a terrible fit. She and Daphne were of similar shapes and heights, though Daphne was way curvier. Just so Daphne would know she was trying she went and took a look at herself in the mirror. She didn't exactly look like a little kid playing dress up, but she still felt like one. Yeah, no way she was borrowing this. She'd be paranoid all night long. Since Daphne appeared to be entirely focused on Delaney at the moment, Lark took the opportunity to remove the dress as swiftly and safely as possible and carefully put it back in Daphne's pile. She then went to put her own pajamas back on, in hopes that she could actually get away with that before having something else thrust upon her.
Delaney's answer was an interesting one to Lark though, and she looked over at Delaney to see how she would answer Trix. It wasn't really that she was interested in the gossip of it all, more that she knew Chris was the one who'd talked about being in jail on his journal. Delaney had seemed like a nice girl, so maybe her judgment of him would count for something. Or maybe she was just blinded by muscles. Fifty-fifty shot, probably.
