Who: Lark and Nate
When: Day 8; around 8pm
Where: Game Room B
Nate had told Damon the first thing he was going to do when he got access to the rest of the mansion would be to watch a movie in the theater, but that hadn't come to pass. Instead, Nate had celebrated his freedom by eating lunch with Mack. After that, he'd spent a large majority of his time back in his room watching the camera feeds and journals - both of the things he'd been complaining about for a whole week when he'd been confined to the fourth floor.
Around seven in the evening, he figured he should force himself downstairs again so he could get something to eat (after checking the regrettably empty dumbwaiter), and stole some leftovers from the fridge before heading to the second floor. Camber had proposed a party there that Nate was interested in, but he had a feeling he'd be missing it in favor of Daphne's slumber party, which he fully intended to watch in his room for as long as it was interesting. He found the game room was empty with no trace of Camber or anyone else who had said they were coming, so he figured it was early enough to get a little time in by himself.
The arcade games immediately caught his eye, and Nate wandered over to a pinball machine, noticing that he didn't have to insert any money to play. He shot the metal ball into the board, then placed his hands on the trigger buttons. The ball slipped between the paddles expertly before Nate had a chance of saving it, but no matter, all he had to do was release the ball again and, free of charge, he was given another chance. At around the half hour mark of playing, Nate was getting pretty good.
