Jukeboxes were the epitome of cool, at least in Delaney's opinion. Even the little ones that the Pizza Perfect in Texas used to have in the booths were awesome. That had been her favorite place to eat when she'd been a middle school and high schooler just because of that, and every time she'd gone in there, she'd checked to see if there were any new songs. Big deluxe models like this one were even better, though. She was discovering mostly country and classic rock, which seemed to be the type of music most jukes she'd ever seen contained. That was okay though, because this one had old-school Heart. Her fingers were itching to press the little raised plastic bar that would start 'Crazy on You' playing.
She turned her head and brightened when Emily spoke to her. "No, c'mon in!" she replied. "You can tell me what I should play on here." She motioned for Emily to come over to her and smiled as she listened to the other woman talk; she seemed just as nice and charming as she'd seemed on the journals. "I love to sing... maybe we could harmonize on something. I'm Delaney, and we talked on the journals. I feel like I know you a little bit already because of that, I guess."
