"It's definitely an interesting change," Audrey agreed, in reference to her job. Or at least it would be, when they finally got to do more than stare at a computer monitor and could actually interact with their marks. And by the time a year was up, she'd have long since disappeared from police radar - she'd be able to sneak back in long enough to get her revenge before taking her money and setting herself up somewhere far away from Australia. It wasn't as if she had any particular allegiance to her home country, anyway.
"I'm not worried about finding a job after this year is up," Audrey said with a shrug. "I plan on knocking a significant number of the people downstairs out and taking their rewards, which will just make me that much more comfortable when I get out." She gave him a rather Cheshire smile. "And anyway, I always land on my feet."
