Nate wondered if there'd been no snow in Australia since the 1800s because of global warming, but didn't ask. He'd already been laughed at for not knowing what global warming was in the first place (shortly after making parole), and since he still wasn't sure what it meant he knew there was a high probability he'd make a fool of himself commenting on it now. There were so many things people just seemed to know, and no shortage of situations where he wished he was half as knowledgable as the rest of the population seemed to be.
"Yeah, I'm American," he admitted, guessing Audrey was good at detecting accents. He'd never thought about it before, but after listening to the other Americans in the mansion he'd realized that there were various other accents within the one country alone. It didn't make a whole lot of sense to him, but some things were much easier to accept without thinking too hard about them.
"Nevada." There was a slight hesitation in his voice as he continued, "Reno. Don't know if you heard of that. I think it's famous since you can gamble there ... and they got brothels. I think that's famous, too." Other than that, Reno didn't seem to have too much - not like he imagined Sydney, which was so famous even Nate had heard of it. Considering he wouldn't be able to locate England on a map if prompted to do so, that was saying something.
