Christian had barely slept a wink the night before. It wasn't that he was picky about the bed he slept on or the surroundings he had. It was just all very different. His current room felt extremely cluttered after the sterile rooms he'd spent the last decade in. The dark wood bothered him a lot more than the plain white walls did for some reason. He'd instead spent most of the night watching the cameras. The people on the other floors were a lot less interesting than he thought they would be. Sure, they did all sorts of things people did - flirt, drink, drugs - but none of that was necessarily interesting.
Once the sun rose, Christian took a moment to shower and change into a new set of pajamas. He was planning on trying to make it to bed. He wondered if the scientists would give him some sleeping aides if he asked for them. Now how do I contact the scientists? He supposed maybe yelling it out would help. They just seemed to know these things. Maybe if he left a note in the dumbwaiter, they'd send it up with the next meal. Worth a shot. He'd have to watch the stupid note, though, wouldn't do for the others to think he was having trouble sleeping. While it wasn't like they were supposed to use it against him, knowing the kind of people he was dealing with, he wouldn't put it past them to just do it to take out some of the competition.
Walking out of his bedroom, he moved to go towards the common room when he noticed Audrey's door room ajar (yes, of course he knew the pretty Australian lady was next door). He stood a reasonable distance outside the door. "Good morning," Christian greeted with his usual bright smile.
