Hannah was the last person to ever truly stereotype a person, being subject to several herself, but that didn't mean she wasn't above pulling out some offensive ones to get a rise out of someone. He was smart to avoid cautioning her against the weather; it would've been the quickest way to sour whatever was left of the conversation. Hannah didn't take kindly to people trying to manage her. Or the assumption that she couldn't take care of herself. Unsolicited opinions were okay only if they were funny.
Being that she was both not really interested in hearing about the sorts of boating and fishing he did on the bayou and also done with her snack, Hannah decided it was time to go. She still wasn't sleepy, but she was bored with the conversation. She'd just go back to her room and read some more. Or play some music. Either way, it wasn't going to be hard to beat conversing with the socially awkward when it came to entertainment value. Especially since she had given him very little shit. Must've been the cookies.
"Well chief, this has been the bee's knees," she said as she stood, giving the empty cookie container a quick rinse before sticking it in the dishwasher. "But it's time for me to bounce. Catch you later."
