Re: Hannah and Lina
Lina wasn't the sort of person to get dressed up or change her clothes for a casual party in what was technically her own house, so once she heard voices coming from the general direction of the billiards room, she dropped what she was doing and headed over to investigate. She wasn't really in the mood for a party, but she did want to put names on faces and get a feel for who she would be dealing with for the next year. She never turned down a beer, either. Or something stronger for that matter.
She entered the room only shortly after some little asian chick with a white cane. That would be why she had noticed a few braille labels around the house. "Straight ahead," she said, after taking a brief glance around the room. "Irish dude playing bartender. Or you could Marco Polo that shit, I guess. Someone'll tell you when you're warm." Might have been kind of a dick thing to say, but Lina didn't have much of a verbal filter. Her tone was without venom at least, only sarcastic. For herself she grabbed a beer and plopped down on one of the couches. There were enough people there by now that she didn't feel the need to announce and introduce herself.
