Delaney was stoked about this event, small in scale though it might be. A party, booze and snacks, guys! Not that she didn't want to meet the females in the house, too, but in all honesty the men held more interest for her. She'd already met Rupert, who was a sweetie in his stammery, fumbly way, and she was keen on meeting more of them tonight. She'd tried to strike a balance with her outfit, since her goal upon meeting this new group of potential friends was to fall somewhere between showing enough skin to intrigue but not enough to be considered the house skank. She thought she'd hit the mark with her black and gold v-necked shirt and black skirt that hit her just above mid-thigh. Her hair was long and wavy and completely loose except for the glittery hairpin that held it back behind one ear, and her makeup was artfully subtle.
As she headed down the stairs, she trailed one hand over the banister, admiring the oversized ring she wore on one finger: a flower with gold and black worked into its petals. She was already smiling when she approached the door to the billiard room, and she passed through it a few moments after Kai had. Well, hel-lo there, had she won the housemate lottery? Four men to two women seemed a decent ratio to her. She didn't hesitate to approach the group with a friendly smile, glancing around at everyone. "Hi, I'm Delaney," she said. "Somebody help me decide if I should go for the booze or the sugar first." There were some awesome looking cupcakes and some other kind of sweet that she couldn't identify, and she realized that the other girl must be the one who baked.
