Chris had indeed decided to go to their stupid party because that would be an excellent chance to check out the rest of his fellow inmates. Roommates. Whatever. See the competition and figure out if there was anyone worth paying attention to. So he had taken a shower after the interesting conversation in the kitchen and had spent about two minutes deciding what to wear. He hadn't thought about what to bring in terms of clothing, after all he was a guy and wore whatever wasn't dirty so it was his favorite jeans and a black, short sleeved button down shirt with a large patch on his back. Unlike those shirts you could buy in any hipster store this was indeed the patch of his MC, but he wouldn't bother explaining that unless someone got really annoying about it. If all else failed he could always take the shirt off, the exact same design was on his back. Permanently.
As he entered the room he found it lacking female guests, which turned this from at least a welcome distraction, he had been optimistic thinking that, into an annoying event. But he walked up to the others nonetheless, sparing a smile for the little baker. He had already forgotten her name, he just wasn't good with remembering them. "Cupcake girl." Losers. "Guys." he nodded and went to get himself a beer. At least they had alcohol, which was pretty much all that kept this from being a church meeting. "I'm Chris." At least one of the dudes looked like he could stand a punch or two, maybe he could make a good sparring partner. Chris was definitely trying to be positive about this. And Cupcake Girl did look even better cleaned up, he had to give her that.
