Mack had, despite conversational delays, gotten all her baking done in time for her to head upstairs and freshen up. The kimono dress and leggings might be overkill, but she didn't care. It was a party and she wanted to look nice. She left her hair down, half-pinned back, threw on a bit of makeup, and headed downstairs. She'd found some cupcake trees in the kitchen storage, on which she'd arranged the cupcakes and macarons. Grabbing a cupcake tree in each hand, she headed to the billiards room.
"Hi!" she said cheerfully upon entering, seeing one other already in the room. "You must be Jai." Safe guess, since he was technically the organizer. "I'm Mack. I come bringing goodies." Setting the cupcake trees down with the already arranged other snacks, she started pointing. "Vanilla cupcakes with raspberry buttercream, lemon cupcakes with lemon-vanilla buttercream, and chocolate cupcakes with thick peanut butter icing - it's my favorite, I couldn't resist. And macarons - chocolate with dark chocolate ganache, almond with honey-hazelnut filling, vanilla with orange buttercream filling, and coffee with vanilla buttercream." She flashed a slightly sheepish grin. "Probably overkill, but at least they'll freeze well." And she'd made very small batches of each.
