Well Madison couldn't say her life at the hospital hadn't been comfortable, given the circumstances. Some of them, the "less insane", she suspected, were even allowed to go on little trips to town with one or two nurses. And yes, Madison did fit in with the less insane, considering she could control her own drool as well as her own violent outbursts. There was no chance of her running naked through Vancouver with an axe in hand, and Madison thought that was enough to be on the less-watched list. But this was better even if only by theory. They had chosen to be here and would be paid for it, after all. She snickered at Nate's hope that things got worse for them soon. That would be fun to watch, certainly. "Hopefully they will. Otherwise this'll get very boring very fast."
Contrary to Madison's expectations, her rejection seemed to have made Nate admire her to some degree. Bringing a palm up to her chest Madison feigned being touched by his assessment of her not being "chicken-shit". She grinned. "In the long run, money does seem to matter more." She chuckled. "You can, it's called prostitution. And I hear in certain circles you get a lot of it and you don't even have to cruise the woods and pray that there isn't a serial killer hunting for prey at the same time." She shook her head at his question. "Not for sex. Not yet anyway. I've got better things to think of."
