The sarcastic reply annoyed him, but Nate felt it was probably meant to so he didn't react. It didn't matter what some random person thought about him, and he had to remind himself of that. Just because she didn't like it didn't mean what he was doing was weird or wrong.
"Since we got nothing to do up here 'cept eat, sleep and watch the people downstairs, everything's a waste of time. I didn't bring that much to keep me busy since I thought we were gonna have more stuff to do. If you got better ideas that are any good I'm listening." From the look on his face, it was apparent Nate wasn't expecting anything mind-blowing.
"I'm Nate." Madison. He repeated the name in his mind, trying to cement it there, but more than likely he'd forget it. "Guess we're stuck together for a year."
