Audrey was surprised that the common area was as scarce as it was; she wondered briefly if the others were just having better luck on the cameras than she was or if they were holed up together in pairs or groups in one of the bedrooms, making plans. She hadn't really sat down to formulate a strategy yet; this was merely the intelligence-gathering phase, where she took in all the info she could. She had a notebook started of rather meticulous observations that she was going to continue recording for the week before making any preliminary plans. She was here to win, and rushing things would only make a mess later on. She needed time to find everyone's strings before she started pulling them.
Her half-musings, half-reading was interrupted with the arrival of the big fellow from yesterday - Osten, she recalled. The one who'd looked big, mean, and who'd triggered every recreational-aggression instinct she had. She was still going to bet on herself in a fight, even if he was taller and had a longer reach. Shame they'd probably never have reason or cause to find out. "Hello," she greeted as he passed, glancing up. Heading for the laundry room - that meant food, especially considering he didn't have any clothes in his hands. She turned back to her book, popping a few of her almonds into her mouth and washing them down with a sip of tea.
Looking up again when he rejoined her, she smiled knowingly at the look of satisfaction on his face. He wasn't going to get any mocking on her end; she enjoyed a coffee now and again, but she'd never give up her tea. She was about to offer up some comment about the day's entertainment, but he beat her to it - and his exercise-related grumble had her bursting into delighted laughter. Not so much because it was remarkably similar to her own complaint about their accomodations but because the thought of skinny little Nate being strung up as a punching bag was just hilarious.
"Interesting alternative, but you'd have to pad him well or else risk cracking a knuckle on his hipbones," she agreed, snickering faintly to herself. "I'd settle for a secret tunnel to the basement so we could use their gym. There's only so much I can do in my bedroom. Not even a pull-up bar anywhere, it's a right shame. At least it's only a week or we'd be in real trouble."
