"'Bye," Avery said, trying not to sound relieved that he was being left alone. He could feel the slight tension in his shoulders ease as Bobby disappeared from sight. It wasn't that Bobby hadn't been pleasant enough, in a slobby sort of way, but Avery still hadn't been entirely comfortable in his presence. You have a whole house full of people to get used to. That wasn't the most soothing thought he could've had.
So, the plan for now was to finish his sandwich, clean up and then either explore some more or go hide in his room. He'd decide which once he was done in here.
