Who: Georgie & Open to anyone Where: 2nd floor; The library When: Day 1, morning
It had taken almost an hour to work up the courage to leave her room. The room was gorgeous, better than Georgie had expected. Decorated in warm whites and soft blues, it was easily a room that Georgie could spend a day in but that wasn't the point of the experiment, was it? Georgie had put it off by busying herself with making sure all the things she had packed had made the journey unscathed and checking out the room but she was just putting off the inevitable. An hour after Georgie had woken up she pushed herself to make the first move. She snatched the key off the oak dresser, checked her clothes in the mirror and decided she was ready to head out and check out the house. Almost.
Georgie got to the door and paused before heading back to throw on a green cardigan over her grey button down. Extra layers always made her feel better and finally Georgie was ready to leave the room. She locked the door behind her and headed down the hallway to the first door on right. "Oh", the blond murmured as she stepped inside the most spectacular library she had ever seen. Given the small number of libraries Georgie had seen in her life that wasn’t a hard record to break but still, this was more than she expected. "Nice".
As far as she could tell no one else was here yet but it was impossible to tell with the sheer size of the place. It didn't help that at the moment Georgie was too preoccupied to tell anyway. Immediately upon entering the library the blond woman had padded over to the nearest bookcase to check out the titles. I guess I didn’t need to pack all those books, Georgie thought as she hauled out one tome and started flipping through the pages when she heard a noise. Giving a little start, Georgie glanced around to see the source and called hesitantly, "Hello? Is anyone here?" It could have just been the house creaking but Georgie didn’t think so.
