Searching for an RPG

Hi! I'm Kacey and I play Lily Potter, Mandy Brocklehurst, and Narcissa Malfoy over at time_of_trial/trial_mod, An Alternate Universe game. Our plot basically revolves around what would've happened if Voldemort would've been killed and the Potter survived during the attack at Godric's Hollow-- and how things would've been different. We've been since January 19th and have recently decided to re-start the game. We are in desperate need of a Ginny Weasley and Hermione Granger. Hi again everyone! I'm back to find some more recruits for Waking Pandora. We're a canon through DH game with an AU premise. Set one-hundred years in the future and based in part on the History Channel series Life After People. It's been nearly three months since the survivors of a pandemic that decimated humanity have started waking up from stasis. They've made their way to Crete, their best chance for survival and have just started the rebuilding process.

But there's room for a lot more.

We have a lot of main characters still open, like Harry Potter, Bill Weasley, Lavender Brown, Ron Weasley, Lucius malfoy, Rabastan Lestrange, Oliver Wood, Daphne Greengrass, Theodore Nott, Susan Bones, Cho Chang, Ernie Macmillan, Marcus Flint, Roger Davies, and many more!

We're definitely interested in seeing some more boys, because this island is getting a little estrogen filled, and our Zach player is definitely looking for more Hufflepuffs.

For my friends who play Alicia and Angelina, they would both love to have their friend Katie Bell back. Katie wasn't quite herself when she first woke up, to the point where the others were concerned that she perhaps had some form of PTSD. Anyone would be free to work with this point of view or to have her recover and move back toward her happy, canon self.

Dean Thomas is the other character we're looking to recast. We have a very active Seamus who would love to have him back. There was a rift formed between them at Hogwarts, but now hopefully things can mend between them with a new player.

Where is HERMIONE GRANGER most needed? Pimp your game to me!

I'm seeking a multifandom or Doctor Who/Torchwood rp for this homeless Doctor Ten. I'm an old school and newWho fan and have so far rped Doctors 1, 2, 8, 9 and 10 - as well as Jack Harkness, Sarah Jane Smith and Jo Grant. Currently at an rp I do love (it's just running slow but I don't want to nag anyone for having rl commitments, etc) I'm curious about what's out there for the Doctor.

My other main fandoms are "Harry Potter" and "Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children" but that doesn't mean I only want to rp with people from there. Meeting well-played characters from fandoms I don't know can be fun.

I'm 21+, prefer more action rp than the 'soap opera' style. If characters have chemistry, I can rp ships but that isn't my main reason for playing. I'm strictly a follow-the-character's-lead player, prefering to not plan everything out in detail once the set-up situation has been established. I don't understand too much preplotting because surprises (not godmodded actions though) are part of the fun of good rp.

Last but not least, my preference is LJ style threading. I'd like an Insane Journal game, not really liking LJ too much but if the game strikes the right chords and promises fantastic fantasy, I'll rp at LJ.
