Searching for an RPG

Hi! I'm Pinky one of the mods of one2ndchance. One Second Chance is a post war, AU game set in 2001. We are an active, fun and friendly game who is kicking off a bit of a Death Eater plot and are looking for interested players. We've been around for a long time, but we are always willing to work with characters back stories. We are accepting applications for all open characters, but we are specifically looking for the following.

Weasleys: We love them! They're awesome! We only have three and we want more! George wants to see Fred, he misses him so much. Right now he's running the shop on his own and he could use the help. Harry desperately wants to hang out with Ron again. Charlie misses Bill. And we would all love to see Mrs. Weasley. Sure her kids are grown up, but we have some ideas that could make playing her fun.

Lee Jordan: Let's face it, having a twin and no Lee Jordan is like having a peanut butter and jelly sandwich without the jelly. George wants to see his best friend almost as much as he wants to see Fred.

Hufflepuffs and Ravenclaws: We only have a handful and we can't let the Gryffindors win. Hannah and Megan would love to see Ernie, Justin and Susan. Flint hasn't fought with Roger Davies in a while and we are pretty sure puppies are crying because of it.

Big Baddies: Right now we only have two Death Eaters and they might crack under all the strain if they don't get some help soon. The movement is just beginning and everyone wants to keep their identities secret, so we are looking for characters who want to create chaos and cause mayhem, but also move about in society normally. Stealth is key.


Plenty of open characters! There's something for everyone!

Hello! I'm Jess from forgotten_gods, a contemporary mythology-based game. We'd love to see some of our underloved pantheons filled out, particularly:

Africans - Anansi would be WIN. Also Eshu, Obatala, Tsetse and Ogun.

Aztecs - Any of them! Though Tezcatlipoca, Quetzalcoatl, Xochipilli or Tlaloc would be wonderful.

Celts - Cernunnos, Goibniu, Morrigan, Epona, Merlin and King Arthur.

Egyptians - Anubis, Apep, Aten, Horus, Ra, Hathor, Thoth... any of 'em!

Japanese - Izanami, Izanagi, Ame-no-Uzume, Omoikane, Sarutahiko, Fujin

Mesopotamians - Dumuzi, Ereshkigal, Utu, Enlil, Nanna and Marduk.

Native Americans - White Buffalo Calf Woman, Nanabozho, Spider Woman.

Slavs - The Zorya, Chernobog, Belobog, Perun, Svarog and Morana.

US folklore - Ichabod Crane, the Jersey Devil, Pocahontas, Rosie the Riveter, Johnny Appleseed and Paul Bunyan.

We're a fun, active game, always glad to welcome new players and characters. We've especially got a number of slots open in the Ministry that we'd like to see filled, as well as the older generation Death Eaters.

Personally, I play five characters, and most of them have other characters they would like to see.

Alice Longbottom - Alice would most like to see her younger brother, Ernest MacMillan, and his wife, Caitlin Campbell (her name can be changed if desired.) They just had a baby boy (Ernie, naturally) at the beginning of May. Alice gets along very well with them, and likes to help with the baby (especially since she's pregnant herself).

Bertha Jorkins - Siblings! Bertha doesn't get along at all with her two older sisters, Edith and Catherine. She and her younger brother, Matthew, are much closer. It'd be nice to see any of them.

Eleanor Lovegood - Wife of Xenophilius Lovegood, Eleanor would like to see her brother, Amos Diggory. They are very much not alike, and don't always get along, but she likes to visit her nephew. And it'd be interesting to see what Amos thinks of his sister's choice of a husband.

Florence Rosier - Florence wants to see her family! Her younger brother, Evan, is a Death Eater, as is her father, Oren. Oren was in the same house/year as Voldemort. Evan was the same house/year as Snape. She does what she can to cover for them, and keep them safe, but is not a fighter herself.
