Searching for an RPG

My Snape is your basic nerd. If he'd been a Muggle, he would have been a chemist or physicist (or both). He's also a proto-Goth. His fascination with the Dark Arts is ananlogous to your typical emo Muggle teenage boy carrying around a well-thumbed copy of The Anarchist Cookbook, with his potion and curse experimentation replacing dabbling in bombs. In other words, he's mostly harmless, but he relishes the appearance of being bad, and he manages to get in over his head with the Death Eaters because of that.

Format: No -- I repeat, NO -- AIM. Journals/Threads only. I don't like messaging programs, and I won't use them at all -- even for required game plotting chats or stuff. This is the one area in which I'm entirely inflexible.
Journal Preference: IJ >>> LJ. I'll look at LJ games, but I'm not crazy about LJ, and your game will have to really blow me away for me to consider playing on LJ.

Experience: I've been RPing off and on for 10+ years. Unfortunately, most of my threads were on GJ and have been comment-rotted to death. :-( I can e-mail other samples upon request, although I'd rather just include them in an application.

One Last Thing: I'm looking for a Marauder Era AU for a reason. IMO, Snape got a raw deal in the books, and I'd like to give him a better life. I'm not necessarily looking for Snily, but rather a chance to repair their friendship (if post-5th year), or possibly not have it end in the first place (if pre-5th year). That said, I wouldn't consider the possibility of Snily to be out of the question, either.

What's up, Trio-fans!

I come on behalf of the brand-new 5th year game quoth_theraven and Death Eaters everywhere. (Just ignore the journal!) As it turns out, there are only three marked individuals running about in the game and as the Bellatrix player, I'd really love to see some more.

In the highest demand are:
Nott, Sr.- His son is already placed firmly in Slytherin and looking to make daddy proud. He's also one of the few people who get along with Bellatrix and Rodolphus and is currently housing them in exile. So if you want to play a crazy, he'd be an awesome edition.
Rabastan Lestrange- Your poor brother has had little experience with one who lasts and this dynamic would be greatly appreciated.
The Carrows- Just because every villain must have that one pair they can pick on.
SEVERUS SNAPE- I don't need to say anymore.

Hi there! I'm trying to get some lines for my characters in a great game called Midnight Remedy, that just opened. I'm specifically looking for two of my characters:

The first is for my character Eva:
Her mother, Claire (middle name open) Turner--Eva hates her mother, largely because her mother is quite prominently a witch, while Eva is only a human. There's much more detail in her bio here. I would die for Claire to be filled, because I really want to play out that relationship and have Eva progress to a point where she realizes it's ridiculous to hate the mother who has tried to give her daughter everything.

And the second is for the family of my other girl, Cassia:
There are four potential lines: her father (Asher), mother (Anastasia), older sister (Odelia), and younger brother (David). I'd love to have any of them filled, because my girl desperately needs her family, because they're all conduits! They're not the closest of families, but Cassia and her brother David are close. Her sister Odelia is a little more standoffish, while her parents largely don't interact with anyone other than their vampires, and other "important" people. For more, see her bio here.
