I haven't really joined and gotten into a Harry Potter rpg in about two years, but I miss it and I'd like to try again. I'm just a nice sane HP lover who enjoys writing and plot driven communities. I'm more than happy to fill a storyline idea that you've had in your head or write the canon match to your character. Please give me some places to look into.

In Search Of:

Bella would really love to see Lucius Malfoy and Narcissa Black (as yet, unmarried). She dotes on Narcissa, and she likes to rake Lucius over the coals, because nobody -- nobody -- will ever be good enough for her live doll baby sister.

I also happen to know that our Neville would adore having his parents, Frank Longbottom and Alice (soon-to-be) Longbottom, around. In fact, we have one (and possibly two) plots that are just waiting on Frank and Alice before we can start them.

We could also use more adults (read: non-students), in general. Hogwarts Staff, Death Eaters, Order of the Phoenix, Aurors, other Ministry employees, professional Quidditch Players, what have you. Just adults. We're far too student-heavy, atm, and we really would like to branch out into the wizarding world more.

PB in that the game borrows on GRRM's pre-established world, but takes place in the future and has little to do with any of the canon characters/plots.

THE MOST OBVIOUS SUSPECTS BEHIND THE ASSASSINATION, namely LORD BARATHEON, LORD LANNISTER, LORD MARTELL and LORD TYRELL.

THE UNEXPECTED AND RELUCTANT REPLACEMENT ON THE THRONE, who intends to abdicate once the mysteries are solved: KING WILLIAM STARK, and his direct family members.

THE MISSING TARGARYENS, namely AERIA TARGARYEN and AEGOR TARGARYEN, as well as the now-fugitive RHAEYS TARGARYEN.

. . . and, of course, assorted laypeople, knights, small lords, people of the Eastern continents and miscellaneous castle inhabitants (especially wanted are members of the Small Council and Kingsguard)!

Game Fandom: Open. I know HP and the X-verse best and I don't think any other universes I know are really turned into games much. If it's based on a TV show I can pretty much guarantee I don't know the fandom unless it's Buffy because I don't even have a TV connection.
Genre: Open. Depends on the type of AU in cases of HP and X-men/Marvel stuff
Character: He's more a personality than a specific person. Early to mid-twenties, male, a bit silly and rather chipper, presumably human but that could change depending on the game he finds a home at.

What I'm Looking For
Format: Thread-based or a combination of thread and log based (I don't do AIM logs though because AIM's evil and I never sign onto it).
Journal Preference: IJ and LJ I know. I have no experience on the other journalling sites such as scribbled and the like, but I can probably learn them easily enough.

My experience and what you should know about me
I've been RPing for nearly five years and I've been writing fiction for the better part of thirteen years. If the game's active then I'll be active, if it's not I'll at least try to prod the hell out of it but really if I wanted to be the one to prod I'd mod. I'm around often, I'm active, and my characters mostly have a tendency to ramble or over think so I'm never in danger of giving anyone one of those much coveted single line replies (unless by "single line" we're perhaps considering one extraordinarily long run-on sentence, which is unlikely but possible).
