Searching for an RPG

I am going to fill out the template and then write some more, just to give others a better feel for what I currently am looking for and a bit more info about me and what I want in a game.

Age: I cannot currently pass rules for people over twenty-one but eighteen plus is grand.

Game Fandom: Harry Potter
Genre: Preferably post-DH AU, though I'll look into DH canon. That's my main purpose for posting here. Lately I've also been considering taking up an MWPP-era game, because despite wanting to I haven't ever actually done it. I would much prefer, for MWPP, if it was after they left school. I know that's not a big timeframe but I cannot play school age.
Character: Nymphadora Tonks. Yes, I know it's a long shot but I've been looking and I really quite badly want to play her, just to try my hand at it. For MWPP...anyone. No, seriously. I'm not even picky.

What I'm Looking For
Format: Thread-based, journal RPGs only please. I don't mind logging via e-mail, in fact I'm a fan, but I cannot do AIM for the life of me. I write too much more than occasionally.
Journal Preference: IJ. Scribbld and CJ will be looked at, but GJ and LJ are just a big no for me.

My experience and what you should know about me: Technically, I've been in the RP world currently for only eight months. However, before that, I RPed for roughly two years before real life required I take a hiatus for over a year. I've been around rather a lot of games, most of which have all disappeared. One thing you have to know is that I am an absolute plot whore if I get into a game with good plot; I will contact people about the most random things because I love that. I dislike games which put a strict restriction on how many times I can post and ones in which people try and limit creativity. I can be creative, I can come up with plots, but I'm not such a big fan of people trying to stifle that. Now, I'm really getting in the mood for rambling so, yes.
