Searching for an RPG

Okay -- I'm going to post a quick mod post here.

playersresource is for individuals looking for specific characters. The rules of the community clearly state that it is not the place for blanket community advertisments. That is what hprpgsearch is for.

playersresource = individuals looking for a game, or players looking for a specific character or two to fill an SL.

ABOUT ME AND THE CHARACTER I PLAY: I am Severus Snape, a fifth year Slytherin and prefect at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. I am also supposed to mention the phrase 'Operation Redo,' though I haven't the foggiest notion of what that means.

CHARACTERS WANTED AND WHY: I suppose Potter does qualify as a 'character,' if you enjoy that sort of thing. The powers that be have asked I pass along the request for James Potter's presence. I'm not sure why they specified the use of his first name. Are there other Potters at Hogwarts that I don't know about? Not that I mind his absence, of course. As far as I'm concerned, Potter's absence is his only good point. I have no idea why his presence is required. Perhaps Madam Pomfrey needs some bedpans cleaned? Though such a magnanimous gesture on my part might impress Lily.

THE GAME: I've no idea what this means, either, but I can tell you a bit about the recent goings-on at school. There are twelve new students at Hogwarts. They arrived during the Hallowe'en Feast. The Headmaster tells us that they came here from a small village that was recently ravaged by a plague. Supposedly, the lot of them were away on a school trip when the plague hit, but they had no accompanying chaperone survive, so far as I can tell. Never mind that they all were decidedly injured and have lain unconscious in the hospital wing for weeks. Plagues don't do that, do they? And if they did, wouldn't these students have died, as well? Are children somehow immune? And if so, wouldn't at least one of them have had a sibling who lived? And some of them stare at me -- almost all the time. It's unnerving, actually.
