Although Luna had trouble making and keeping friends, she had talents. As quickly as she scared people off, Luna was able to console them. For some reason, the girl had a knack for picking up when something was wrong, and giving excellent advice. It was strange, since Luna herself knew very little of how to please people, but she had been watching and observing for years. Luna knew what the general population wanted, and why they did what they did. In fact, Luna often read muggle psychology textbooks, because she found it very interesting. Wizards had never been terribly concerned with explaining peoples' actions, but Luna was. It was her fall-back career plan, if being an environmentalist species hunter didn't quite woke out. Although, Luna was certain it would - no one knew the endless possibility of species out there! And only someone like Luna had the patience and drive to find them all. She had decided long ago it was the perfect career for her, and her father would always be the first to publish her findings.
After Hermione agreed (because Luna didn't really like going into other people's houses without their permission), Luna quickly closed her journal. With a hop off her bed, Luna changed out of her pyjama pants and into jeans. Often when she got into her dorm room, Luna changed into pyjamas. It was just much more comfortable to lounge around in than jeans! If Luna had created a perfect world, it would be much more similar to the ancient cultures. They would wear loin clothes and have no need for modern and uncomfortable clothing. It simply wasn't acceptable for Luna to run around in her underwear, but she longed for the day it was. Without saying goodbye to anyone, Luna left the Ravenclaw dorms and headed towards the Lions. She almost regretted forgetting her Lion hat, she really enjoyed it. The walk was short, and Luna was glad for it. Hermione seemed rather distressed, and Luna would really like to help her friend. Once outside the common room, Luna had to wait for someone to exit or enter the hole so Luna could get in. It didn't take long, and before she knew it, Luna was in side.
Within minutes Luna had spotted her friend and was walking towards her. "Hey Hermione," Luna greeted, "how are you doing?"
