Who: Julian + Keely Where: Library When: A little past noon What: Studying~ Rating: PG-13 Status: Incomplete
Julian had never been a vain person. He didn't care much for his appearance;keep things tidy with as little effort as possible, and he was fine. Of course it certainly helped having a closet full of brand name clothes that practically made it impossible for him to not look good. Julian preferred to ignore that fact and rather liked to believe that he only looked as good as he did with as little effort he put in because he was just that good looking.
But today, Julian wasn't feeling all that attractive. Or looking it. His face was pale, with puffy bags under his eyes and his eyes constantly droopy. His hair refused to cooperate with him, leaving it messy and not in the styled way he sometimes had. No, this looked - his whole visage did, actually - like he was ill. But that just couldn't be possible. Sure, he had the sniffles, but that had to be because of the large amount of dust in the castle. Really, those house elves should be doing their damn jobs instead of fawning over Potter.
He couldn't be sick. He just couldn't. Leaning forward on the desk, elbows on the surface and head propped in one hand, Julian slowly wrote down a list of health-related things he needed to do. Talk to Bones, get some more potions, get that potion from Vane, get some more potions, and eat nothing but stew until he felt better. He refused to be sick. Illnesses were for the poor and for people that didn't take care of themselves, neither of which could apply to Julian.
Nose suddenly switching from runny to snuffy, Julian tried in vain to breathe through his nose before giving in and breathing through his mouth shallowly. He didn't want to sit there like a moron with his mouth wide open so he could breathe and contract more of those vile germs. No, he'd take shortness of breath over germs any day.
It was probably nothing, he told himself. He had stayed up too late studying last night and was just feeling a little tired. Perhaps he'd cut his and Keely's study session short in order to nap.
