Megan was sure she knew what he was going to say - that they hadn't caught all of them. And it was true. They still didn't know how many were out there lurking in the shadows waiting to pounce on the school like a tiger on it's prey.
"Have you slept?" she asked, reaching up to brush his hair back from his forehead. "Besides, how could I not come when Anthony told me you were hurt? You know I still care about you. I care what happens to you, Ioan. I always will. I don't want you hurt. I want you safe."
She knew she was being silly, but she couldn't help it. She'd seen too many people hurt or killed at the hands of the Death Eaters and she wasn't about to see that happen again if she could help it. That was the only thing keeping her going right now - being a fierce protector of her friends and family.
