At his admission, Melinda could feel the colour start to rise to her cheeks. Her eyes went everywhere but his as she shifted her weight again -- this time far more nervously. She'd been put in the spot light and she never quite knew what to do with it.
"You-- you've missed me?" She questioned, looking up at him through a curtain of black.
"Last time you touched me, I slapped you." She countered. "You missed getting slapped?" She asked, trying to make a joke of it even a little bit.
