"Nope," she said softly, instantly. She walked slowly around him, her eyes gazing over the littering of bruises over his body. She wanted to smack him for being stupid, or ask what happened. Instead, for the moment, she held that back.
"I died three days ago." She said flatly -- a very matter of fact sort of thing. "My body's still in the woods, too. Didn't even need to leave the castle. Got plucked right out of one of the corridors, fancy that. At least I got to stay black, right?"
Her eyebrows rose a little bit as she reached out a hand to go right through him.
