The kings and queens grow lonely, having no people to rule in a land with such potential. They have been alive for centuries now, as aging is impossible in Wonderland. Finally the gods made a choice to do something for each of these rulers and decided to set up a portal in each part of Wonderland that will catch any being with great strengths, magical or otherwise. The gods did not speak with each other prior to choosing. Every person who has been brought to Wonderland has been hand picked by one of them for a special reason. And now it's up to the people to live harmoniously together... or not.

When your character arrives in Wonderland, he or she will have be granted the extreme privilege of being welcomed personally by one of these gods. They can take on an extremely glorious human form and walk among other people, but they rarely choose to do so. They will lead your character to his or her house or cottage, leaving the key and a map before disappearing mysteriously without answering any questions.

What happens next is up to you. Just know that nothing can help your character escape now.
