After figuring out how to communicate with Theon on the boards, Sansa got up from the bench she was sitting on and made her way to the harbor that Theon had mentioned. For her, it was confusing navigating her way through the city when she was so used to the quiet mountains and vast valleys, and deep forests behind Winterfell. She longed for home and the longing was written on her face and she didn’t bother to hide it. Even though she was glad that Dany and Jon were nearby. The only person who seemed to understand her at the moment was Theon since he had saved her life when he shouldn’t have but took a risk and a gamble on her and was the main reason why she called him the bravest man she knew. He saved her from a marriage that was doomed to fail right from the beginning and while she was happy to be free from him, she still longed for home. Arms crossed, the flame haired beauty continued to walk to the harbor. She could hear the ocean and the sound calmed her.
As she neared the harbor, she was so lost in her thoughts that she didn’t hear the howl till a few minutes later. Hearing it a second time, Sansa gasped and turned toward the sound. Standing a few feet from her, was her direwolf, Lady, very much alive. Blinking a few times, Sansa’s eyes widened. “Lady? Is that you, girl?” As if she heard Sansa, the wolf gave a happy bark and ran to Sansa and leaped on her gently, knocking her down and showered her face with kiss, causing her to laugh. “I missed you girl.” Sansa got up and knelt to bury her face in the soft fur for a minute. Then girl and wolf walked the rest of the way to the harbor, the crash of the ocean a welcoming sight. The wind blew Sansa’s red hair around her as she looked for Theon. Not seeing him yet, she decided to sit and wait. Lady laid next to her and rest her head in her lap as she once again got lost in her thoughts, unaware that she was being watched.
