10:13p - The Claiming of Prompts!
(is a difficult matter, it isn't just one of your holiday games! /cats)

Prompts are open for the claiming!

Ok, first things first:

Thank you. You, watcher, and you, member, and you, lurker. You, you, you, all of you.
We've got some great stuff to work with here - this is going to be a terrific fest.

Now.

Our original goal with accepting prompts was to keep them shipless so that writers/artist would have total freedom in how they could interpret the phrase. However (and this is my bad), I didn't mention that in the call-for-prompts post and so many people suggested prompts that included pairings.

So. Here's the deal.

Each prompt will be listed as it was given, pairings/characters included. You can either claim the prompt as-is or claim it with intention to modify the pairing. Since we're giving you a choice, we will allow for four claimers per prompt: one claimer each for fic and art for the as-is and one claimer each for fic and art who wants to modify the pairing. So the key is to let us know what you intend to do.

Please put "as-is" or "will modify" in the subject line of your comment. In the comment, tell us which number you will be claiming and let us know whether you will be providing art or fic. Claims are on a first-come, first-serve basis, so peruse and mull quickly as claiming will end at 12:00am, EST, Monday, August 27.

Whew. 60 prompts? In the immortal words of Gretchen Wilson: Hell, Yeah!

So, pick 'em while their fresh, peeps. And also, did you see what we did (or didn't do) there? Did not link the prompt to the person who suggested it. Why? because it's a shit-load of coding and I'm supposed to be doing laundry So that you can go go search back through the prompting post here and look up the person who suggested your favorite prompt. Get to know them a little. Because the first friending frenzy is NEXT WEEKEND! August 24 - 26, peeps!
