Phantasos

My legend began in the twelfth century.

I woke up in the morning, feeling not dissimilar to Sean Combs. I picked up my spectacles and went outside to go greet the open city. Before I left I brushed my teeth with a rather unsavoury beverage named for a man called Daniels, since I would not be returning that day.

[Who is he talking to?

Why, he's talking to you, of course!

If the cane hovering dangerously close to your chin wasn't enough of an indicator.]

[From a distance, it looked at first as if there was just a piece of metal sticking into the snow. Upon closer look, it was a small scythe; and bits of chain snaked on the ice...

Should one look away and back again, in the place of the scythe was a girl, who immediately goes towards the next person she sees, worried look on her face --]

Um... excuse me, but have you seen a boy with a tattoo of a star on his shoulder? Or a girl with a large scythe?
 

[Soul isn't one to freak out about things, no matter how urgent or weird the situation is, but finding himself in this new place suddenly does have him a little worried and pretty angry. Of all the times to have something like this happen, it has to be as soon as a fight starts.]

[But it's not like he can do anything about that right now. He'll have to think about something else for the time being and the cat ears and tail he suddenly has seems like as good a place as any to start.]

What the hell is going on with these things?

[Takes a moment to feel the ears to see if they're actually real or not.]

[Ow. Pulling on them hurts. Definitely real.]
