[Nia's decided she likes ice cream. Really, really likes it.]

Please allow me to try that one next! [Pointing enthusiastically. She's already finished off two double scoop cones, and isn't even remotely full. The seller complies without saying anything.]

[Holding her cone of chocolate chip cookie dough like it's precious bounty, Nia smiles down at the ice cream before it gets its first bite.]

[ There is a bear standing on the sidewalk. Well, what looks like a bear anyway. It's kind of a cat-bear thing? ]

[ Anyway! He'll approach anyone near by and offer them-- ]

Hello! Would you like some candy?

[ something smells good as he wanders around the carnival. it's different from the type he's used to (and those he really only got to observe in passing) and that makes it even better! he peers at a food stall selling "steak skewers" and is about to grab one when he hears a bell clanging. turning to look, there's a muscular young man swinging a hammer and hitting a button on the ground. the harder he hits it, the higher the little thingy goes toward a large bell.

he laughs and grins, abandoning the food to go have a try at this game. ]
