[Before Romana wakes--in that half of a second before her consciousness is fully realized and her new body is fully formed--she dreams. And her dreams are eternity.
No longer are her clothes burning from her body, no longer is her scarred, no longer is she banned from witnessing Time. It's flowing differently here, she can tell, but she can see it all the same.
She realizes that she's conscious--or, well, dreaming, or dead, or whatever--while sitting perfectly comfortably on a stool. In a bar. There is a drink before her, a glass of Gallifreyan wine, the sort of vintage she hasn't had in at least a decade.
Romana blinks, and fingers the glass. She takes a tentative sip.][OOC: Not
totally sure if 'new interpretation' counts as 'original character' or 'AU.' If it's forbidden, just let me know, and I'll delete the thread. Thanks!]
