Remus and his Vampire lover are on the run from the Ministry of Magic. Beta: toxicwasteland1
Moony ran, ran like the wind, faster and faster. His sensitive ears picked up the high-pitched scream on the wind and followed the sound to its source. His werewolf senses seemed super-charged as he honed in on his mate's mournful cries.
Rain fell from the skies in bone chilling, wind swept sheets, a wall of water that slowed Moony's progress, but by no means stopped his determination. He ran on through the Forbidden Forest, nose in the air and ears perked.
As the werewolf rounded a bend and dashed into a secluded glen, Moony spotted a dark shape writhing on the ground. Another dark shape stood over the stricken body. Moony increased his speed, racing toward the creature as rage coursed through his veins. As he leapt into the air, the creature's red eyes bore a hole straight through Moony's soul. A glint of white fangs, dripping with blood caught the werewolf's attention as the creature raised its head.
Moony growled menacingly as he landed on top of the vampire. He didn't stop to think, animal instinct taking complete control as he ripped out the creature's throat. Caught off guard, the fight was short lived as a flash of light reduced the vampire to ashes, its rapidly disintegrating head still dangling from Moony's jaw.
The werewolf spat, trying to expel the foul taste of the wretched creature from his mouth. Moony turned sharply as a small moan escaped the body lying on the ground next to him. Moony sniffed the prone man and licked his pale face. For a brief instant, Severus' eyes fluttered open, glowing red with an inner fire. Moony howled his grief as he lay down next to his lover. The rain and wind continued throughout the night, pierced only by the desperate howls that rode the wind, giving Harry and Hermione some small hope of finding them. ******
"Bloody hell," Harry muttered. "I new he wasn't dead. I had a feeling in my gut when I left the Shrieking Shack that he wasn't dead. I should have listened to my gut instincts."
"Harry, it wasn't your fault. Voldemort would've killed you. Professor Snape knew the danger. He prepared for it."
"I know that now, Mione, but he saved himself only to fall victim to a damned vampire."
Hermione shook her head. "Where there is life, there is hope, and I'm just so thankful that we found them."
Harry sighed. "So am I, but we need more help. Neither one of us is qualified to treat Professor Snape's wound. He needs a professional healer."
"I don't know if we could risk calling Madam Pomfrey, but I think that she would keep our secret."
"She probably would, but the Ministry has ways of making people talk. Trust me, I know from personal experience. We really can't risk it. There is manhunt going on for Snape and Remus. After Snape's sudden disappearance and Remus' Miraculous recovery, the Ministry just assumes their guilty of conspiring with Voldemort."
"That's ridiculous, Harry. Both men are heroes. We wouldn't be alive if it weren't for them."
"I know that, and you know that, but Dumbledore's Pensieve has mysteriously vanished. We have no proof. I honestly think that there is a conspiracy -- against Snape and Remus."
"In this instant, I am inclined to agree with you. We need a plan, Harry. We can't keep them indefinitely at Grimmauld Place. The Ministry will look here eventually. Even the Saviour of the Wizarding World can't hold them off forever."
"You're right," Harry groaned. "I hope Remus wakes up soon. Maybe he'll know what to do." ******
Severus awoke with a start. His eyes adjusted quickly to the darkness. Blood pounded in his ears as hunger gnawed at his insides. The smell of his surroundings was familiar and he knew instantly that he'd been there before. No where on earth smelled as musty and depressing as Grimmauld Place.
He tried to think clearly, latching on to his very last memory. He'd talked to Potter, given him his memories, and promptly taken the anti-venom as soon as the boy had left. He remembered wandering through the Forbidden Forest until… Something attacked him in the forest. Yes, he was sure of it.
Severus instinctively reached for his neck, running his hand over what appeared to be bandages. 'Hmm, must have been rescued', Severus thought. A noise in the hallway caught his attention. He listened carefully, picking up the thumping sound of at least two heartbeats.
Hunger finally overrode all of his senses as he sprang to his feet and lunged for the door. Severus easily knocked down the first person he met in the corridor. He had the body pinned beneath him as his fangs came dangerously close to Harry Potter's throat.
Hermione managed to fire off a curse at the vampire, but Severus was lightning fast. He dodged the hex and tripped the girl before retuning to his meal. Harry struggled, but Snape now possessed inhuman strength and ravenous hunger. Only another inhuman creature could stop his rampage.
Remus flew down the hall in a panic as cries and shouts woke him from his badly needed slumber. Severus' scent permeated the air and a feeling of foreboding filled Remus with a sense of dread. He stood for a moment transfixed as he watched his lover's mouth descend toward young Harry's neck. A screech from the boy brought Remus out of his trance. Using all of his werewolf strength, he grabbed Severus around the waist and bodily hauled him off Harry.
Severus fought, clawed, and tried to bite his way free of the beast holding him, but the man had arms like steel. Soon though, Severus stopped struggling as a soft cooing sound calmed his blood-crazed frenzy and the scent of werewolf filled his nostrils.
Remus laid Severus' limp body gently on the bed. He'd passed out in Remus' arms. The werewolf brushed a stray lock of black hair out of Severus' eyes as he stared at his deathly pale lover. "He needs to feed," Remus said quietly.
"Well, he's not going to feed on us," Harry spat.
"I'm sorry, Harry, but he's not in his right mind. Please don't kill him. Severus is all that I have."
Harry paled visibly and Hermione let out a gasp. "We are not going to kill him, Remus," Harry stated vehemently. "We've come too far and I'm not about to lose either of you again.
"Remus, do you have any ideas? What can we do to alleviate his hunger?" Hermione asked.
"We need blood. If one of you could go to the butcher shop and get some pigs blood, it would be quite helpful."
"I think Hermione better be the one to go. I wouldn't want anyone to spot me buying pigs blood."
"You're right, of course," Hermione agreed. "I'll go straight away, and don't worry, I'll hurry."
"Thank you, Hermione," Remus said gratefully.
"Yeah, thanks, Mione. You're the best."
"I know," she said smirking as she silently slipped out of the room. ******
Severus awoke to the smell of blood as someone poured a lukewarm liquid down his throat. It wasn't exactly what he wanted, but it did help his hunger. He greedily drank down the offered blood, sighing with relief as he laid his head back on the pillow.
"Feel better now?" Remus asked.
Severus cocked one eye open and looked up at the werewolf. "Mm, yes, I believe so. May I ask, what the fuck happened?"
Remus groaned. "I hate to be the bearer of bad new, but… I'm afraid you were bitten by a vampire while you were fleeing through the Forbidden Forest."
"Shite!" Severus yelled. "I knew something attacked me, but I didn't know what. It pinned me to the ground before I even knew what was happening."
"That's not surprising," Remus sighed. "In your weakened condition, there was no way that you could fight off a vampire at full strength."
"What happened to the creature?" Severus asked.
"Moony got hold of it. There wasn't anything left of it when he was finished."
Severus strangled a bitter laugh. "Good for Moony."
"Now, love, we need to discuss your recent behaviour concerning Harry."
"Harry, bloody, Potter?" Severus asked with a snarl.
"The one in the same, Severus," Remus replied. "He's our benefactor, the man who rescued us from the forest and gave us medical attention, the same one who is keeping the Ministry at arms length."
"Oh," Severus replied a bit more contritely.
"Yes, oh," Remus chuckled. "We need to establish some ground rules. We can't have you blatantly attacking unsuspecting humans."
"It's not really my fault. I don't know how to control it. I've never been a bloody vampire before, wolf!" Severus shouted.
"Calm yourself, love, and tell me how you feel right now?"
Severus glared at Remus, huffing indignantly before answering. "I feel all right. The hunger seems to be sated for the moment and I feel strong, incredibly strong. I think I could take on the entire world right now."
"Excellent," Remus said smirking. "You're going to need all of your strength."
"Why?" Severus asked with trepidation. The look in the werewolf's eyes was making him decidedly nervous.
"It should be obvious, my love, your wild side needs to be tamed. You need a dominant counterpart to help you control those murderous impulses."
Severus sneered. "And I suppose you think that you're the one who can bring me under control."
Remus smiled. "Yes I do, love, yes I do."
Severus snorted and flung himself at the surprised werewolf. His forward momentum sent Remus flying off the end of the bed, where he landed on his back with a loud thud. Severus was on him instantly, snarling and bashing Remus' head repeatedly against the hardwood floor.
Severus' fangs elongated and nails sharp as claws stabbed through Remus' wrist. "We'll see just who is going to be dominant here." Severus laughed in the werewolf's face as he tried to bite his lover's throat.
Remus gave one warning growl before flipping Severus onto his back. "You're a very naughty boy, Severus," Remus hissed through gritted teeth as he ripped the tattered clothes off the enraged vampire's body.
Remus smirked with satisfaction as he caught sight of his lover's raging hard-on. "Well, at least someone is glad to see me," Remus chuckled as he held Severus' arms above his head with one hand. With his other hand, Remus released his own aching erection and wedged his knee between Severus' legs.
Severus snarled and bucked, trying to knee the werewolf away from him, but his efforts were futile. Remus yanked one of Severus' legs over his shoulder and plunged his weeping cock balls deep into Severus' unprepared hole.
Severus screamed in protest as the werewolf began to thrust in and out with abandon. Growls and snarls echoed through the entire house as Remus staked his claim on the unruly vampire, but Severus wasn't done, not by a long shot.
Severus eyes glowed with molten fire, as he broke free from Remus iron grip. He flipped the werewolf over and they rolled from side to side until Remus managed to backhand Severus across the face. He held the vampire down and shoved his cock back inside Severus unceremoniously.
Remus panted, pumping in and out of Severus' arsehole as he doubled his lover almost in half. Severus moaned loudly and pushed back, now matching Remus thrust for thrust. Remus splayed himself over his lover's body and bit down harshly on Severus' neck, careful not to break the skin, but leaving a deep purple bruise in his wake.
Severus screeched and tried to repay the love bite, but Remus slammed him back down on the floor roughly. He wrapped his hand around Severus cock and began stroking it in time with his thrusts. Severus whimpered in pleasure, coming after only a few tugs on his rigid member, and several well placed jabs to his prostate.
Come soaked Remus' chest hair and ran down his abdomen as Severus' tight arse muscles spasmed around his prick. Three thrusts later, Remus howled as he bathed his lover's insides with his hot seed.
Severus gasped and intertwined his body with the boneless werewolf. They lay on the floor in silence for a long time before anyone could move or speak, but finally Remus broke the silence. "Do we have an understanding now, love?" Remus asked with just a hint of mirth.
Severus snuggled closer to the cheeky werewolf. "Oh, all right, wolf, I promise not to attack any more members of the Golden Trio."
"Or anyone else," Remus corrected.
"Fine, have it your way, but you might need me to attack someone in the future. You'd surely be fucked then, should I decide to refuse."
"We'll cross that bridge when we come to it, Severus, but for now, you will be a good little vampire. Is that clear?"
"Perfectly," Severus drawled with just a touch of insolence in his voice. ~~~~~~
"What in the name of Merlin are they doing up there?" Hermione asked.
"Er… I don't know, don't want to know, not getting involved," Harry answered adamantly.
"Are you sure we shouldn't check on them?"
"NO!" Harry shouted. "I'm not about to get attacked again by a ravenous vampire or a lust-crazed werewolf. I'm staying out of their way until things calm down."
"Well, it's gone deathly quiet, so maybe everything is all right now."
Harry shook is head. "I certainly hope so. Even poor Kreacher has gone into hiding, and you'd think with all of Mrs. Black's caterwauling, he be used to things like this."
"I don't know, Harry. I think they shattered some of the china in the cupboard and the grandfather clock has stopped working. I think the foundation actually shook at one point."
"It seems to be over, Mione. I'm going to bed and hide until morning. Are you staying?"
"Hmm, I guess so, Harry, but I'm double warding my bedroom door."
"Yeah, me too, definitely," Harry agreed. "We'll try to figure out what to do with them after we've had a good night's sleep."
Hermione snickered. "Like anyone could sleep in this mad house."
Harry grinned at her as they headed off to bed, hoping fervently for a mayhem free night.
