Just like the day before, Taryn woke up long before her brother even began to stir, and once again she had absolutely nothing to do but wander Athens. This wasn't necessarily a bad thing, it gave her time to think on her encounter from the day before. That man had possessed such a strong pull for her, and she couldn't even begin to imagine why she'd cared one way or the other for him. As attractive as he'd been, he was blatantly a pig, and not her type.
Purposefully avoiding the route she'd taken the day before, she kept away from the fish shop that Dylan owned and the restaurant that they'd visited later in the day.
Instead, she found herself idly perusing a bookstore that was near her hotel. Having a book to read while she waited on her brother could never hurt!
As she passed from one section to another, she passed a man who was rather intently writing something down, his face a mask of amused concentration. She continued on her way, undeterred by the attractive male, until what exactly he was writing in caught her eye...
The man had a journal, much like the one she had found in the bathroom of her hotel room, only with a different set of Greek letters on the front. Was he the owner of one of the many different entries into her journal?
Pausing, she turned around and crept towards him, not wanting to look too obtrusive until she was positive it was the same journal.
