"Once there was a clown called Joe, whose face and name were lost to plastic casts of fear and paint. You could never find a sadder clown than Joe, oh woe. Was there any person who could help his smile grow?
No.
For good old Joe was now no more, a puppet at his best and at his worst a great perversion of the name that he once bore.
She was not a human on her own and still she wanted flesh. Little puppet, you are not a hand! You are just a skin, a vessel for what moves within, that thing so deep inside is not you and has never been! Little puppet, rest your lidless eyes and still your hands from shedding blood you hope to use to fill the hollow shell that somehow got called “You”. Feed it to old Joe who struggles still as just a figment, but a fraction, impulsed to survive and be that which has been denied.

Good old Gregor, Danny-boy, you mad, grotesque collage. Does your instinct push you to an end yet stranger than your self? Do you drag your stitched together body to some goal that you believe will bring you some relief?
Will it bring you joy?
Handless puppet, you are nothing; still your stolen words and take his tongue between her teeth. Childish and prone to whim, your aimless, angry appetite has led to fatal feasts! Is that why you try to tear this room to pieces now? Come now patchwork stranger, wrought of many— why not rest and recognize yourself? Leave the portraits on the walls and let the records play.
