So, from what I worked out with ~eastcott, the Darlings and the Eastcotts are family friends, and they often ended up at various social functions a lot together. So Noelle and Libbie would know each other!

Snobby, sophisticated, a little self-righteous, and overly concerned with her reputation. That was very alliterative! But yeah, generally speaking, she was prim and self-composed and did exactly what was expected of her, so when she graduated college, she had the epiphany that she hasn't really ... lived the same way that her peers have, so she ended up touring Europe and ended up meeting ~bedams and ended up engaged. And now that she's back, she's the same snob as ever, although she hopes to make it as an actress now, which no one ever really expected. So she's capable, somewhere inside, of letting loose but usually doesn't.

she sounds fun. lib attempted to be a good conservative kid when she was concerned that her parents might actually be proud of her, but quickly changed her attitude and got trigger happy with throwing blood on fur at fashion week and spending the occasional night in the county lockup for some fanatical cause. she's since become slightly more refined from then career wise, but she's always been something of a mess. she likes people to notice her, has a tendency to draw people in and then push them away like a bad habit and has jealousies that know no bounds. she's also pretty quick to put her hands on people, either affectionately with touches, hugs and kisses or pushes and slaps. i also think she's got a thing going on where she thinks marriage is a complete joke.

oh man, lib sounds like fun, too. i think noelle is progressive, politically speaking, but MUCH quieter about it. maybe they're somewhat unlikely friends? noelle could have bailed libbie out a few times, so that libbie's parents didn't have to get involved and it could've been handled quietly and with subtlety? and haha, she could ask libbie to be a bridesmaid and pretend to ignore the eyerolls.

i love it. she'd be her first phone call. though, i don't think she'd be able to contain her mouth about the impending nuptials. not necessarily about them, either, just marriage in general

He is going to love reading the riot act to her boyfriends.

her boyfriends are typically afraid of her by the third date, and she does that before she introduces them to gabe

Well in that case he might just pat them on the back and tell them he's sorry they have to deal with her. And then be like KIDDING, fuck with her and you're dead. Cheers.

We can work something out, her brother is marrying his sister and trying to corrupt his fiancee, so they have links.

mad links, we clearly have to. what's his take on the sibling union?

He sees it for what it is, his twin sister's attempt at upstaging his own union. He's not one for dramatics or...caring about much of anything, so mostly? He just shakes his head disapprovingly and rolls his eyes.

sweet, more the quiet type. libbie has a big issue with the institution of marriage, so she finds weddings in general exceptionally ridiculous and makes it appoint to make her opinion crystal clear.

I could see it going either way. They might butt heads because he doesn't hesitate to speak up against anyone that disagrees with him. But, on the other, she's quiet so I don't know whether or not that'd actually happen.
