lex was born in russia, raised in new york, and moved to california for college...and he’s been there ever since. he’s sharp as hell, a little intimidating at first, but once you get past the sarcasm and the perfectly curated exterior, he’s one of the most loyal, quietly intense people you'll ever know. he feels everything more than he lets on, but he’s mastered the art of keeping it locked up behind a smirk or a perfectly timed joke. he can be kind of funny too. he disappears sometimes, goes dark when things get too loud, but he always finds his way back. and if he cares about someone, really cares, he’ll show up. no big declarations, just a quiet kind of consistency that means more than most people realize.

where in new york? nik’s from nj but worked in ny for awhile before she moved away. she’s been in california for a little over a year now, did a stint in north carolina too. she’s more observant and catches on to things more than she lets on, buries her feelings to the outside world, spends most of her time with her dog, tries to be a good friend but is often in her own head. i’m sure we can figure out some kind of connection? is he living in a house or apartment?

he moved to queens as a kid, but he eventually moved to the city. she sounds really great and i'd love something! lex loves dogs and is planning to adopt one soon. i have him living in an apartment at the moment, but nothing is set in stone yet. we could do neighbors, unlikely friends, or he met her because of her dog?

she’s been in and out of different areas of the city for work and friends so definitely room for previous meetings! she rents a house but her dog believes firmly that everyone is his best friend and approaches everyone/thing as such even when she has him sit and wait. they run every morning so even then?

i could say that he's got a house and they could be neighbors. maybe neighbors who run every morning? he can totally babysit her dog too!

if he’s willing to run at four am when she does, she wouldn’t say no to human company sometimes! she’d appreciate another friend to watch him if she needs, for sure.

he's got no problem running that early. he loves routines and runs at 5 am everyday anyway
