courty anyone in need of a disastrous older brother or some other family connection he could possibly fill? (i'm flexible on those details.) a best friend and his first ex-wife, maybe (not necessarily one and the same).

so, i think about 10 years as he worked his way up through various chef positions until he got his current gig about a year ago. he's a big puppy dog of a man, very gentle and mild and quite dependent on his friends, lots of calling them (too many times a day), wanting to go on double dates because it's less stressful than going alone, that sort of thing! and i'm totally open to how well received that is or isn't, i kind of think it would be hilarious either way?!

	tbh puppy dog people are nolan's weakness so i think that could work well! he's on the grumpier/less nice side, but he is caring and appreciates people who are much less abrasive than he is outwardly. probably at first he was kind of perplexed at what was happening, but he would accept going on dates though i imagine at least a couple went hilariously poorly! 	the only thing i had specifically in mind was that she grew up in a southern town with a mom who really pushed her into the dance world, but there's a lot to play with (including the location, i said dallas but am open to changing it). wanna make a custom for us to brainstorm in, if you're interested? a few! she was his hs sweetheart and they got married sometime during freshman year of college on a romantic whim~. they made it a couple years, but it was pretty highs/lows amd they started to drift apart and both ended up choosing future career goals over each other, basically. i imagined it as an amicable-ish separation, but i am flexible on details / how much they kept in touch or got on after that!
