wes was not popular in high school so he would've thought he was the worst person for that job - but it actually might have made him the right person for that job. he was pretty quiet and introverted, good at computers and always reading. he didn't have the most social childhood and it took a few years to feel like he fit in because he's significantly deaf so learning to be himself took time. but he was academic, observed a lot, chatty enough once everyone (himself included) got past the obvious hurdles. at some point he worked out how to hack the school computers and tweak grades and tinker with attendance records, so that won him some praise. since school he's settled a lottt, a gym membership and a better haircut worked wonders, but he'd like to think he hasn't changed that much so if they got along at school it should still be true!
