obviously open to rolling with the punches of plotting (i have a few ideas that split off), but the tldr of it all is that i think it would be fun to explore a new friendship from the inception of it. griffin's a caretaker for his grandmother, so most of his out-of-the-house time is on his own and toward the later end of the night. consider: random wal-mart run in at a ridiculous hour, neighbor intrigued by him possibly (probably?) being a vampire, or if you're into anything a little bit heavier, we could skew more toward the "right person in the right place at the right time" trope, whatever that might entail for how you'd end up picturing her (breakup, loss of a loved one, feeling just kind of generally lost, etc)
i feel like i'm in danger of sounding like a book of mad-libs or a d20 table of encounters, so please let me quit while i'm ahead and let me know if any of this sounds intriguing!
