- the davis side of the family is politically-minded but not everyone in the family has to be in politics. their father leon has siblings but we've never specified how many, though all of the davis kids are on bad terms with leon. it doesn't meant that they'd be on bad terms with the rest of his family, though! leon was the former US senator for california from 1988-2018 when he retired early. - the kincaid side of the family is upper middle-class. maggie is one of a number of siblings but we also didn't specify how many, though we have said she has a big family so that's why she has five kids. maggie is a child therapist.
i don't know if it would affect your choice, but in march, elsie and ~clasher discovered that they're actually the products of an affair between their father and his press secretary. so if you choose the kincaid side, you'd get 3 blood-related cousins but elsie and oliver still consider maggie their mom for all intents and purposes!
