she's not a complete native but have been in the area for 20-odd years, having been born and raised and went to college somewhere more west. married young with 2.5 kids and a white picket fence until shit just didn't work out, and now that her kids are all but grown she's trying to get her own life sorted. she'd probably have a huge time gap on her resume since she spent about the last 15 or so years being a stay at home parent, but she'd be able to help handle the admin side of things at first, with maybe higher ambition to work with the actual animals if people like him and others at the clinic encourages her.
